Good Friday 2026 · Friday, April 3
“It is finished.”
John 19:30
Good Friday is the most solemn day in the Christian calendar. It is the day the Church does not flinch from darkness — but enters it fully, in order to understand, in the very depths of it, the weight of love.
Following the Stations of the Cross (12:00 – 2:00 PM), our Good Friday Liturgy begins at 2:00 PM. Drawing from the Book of Common Prayer 2019, this solemn service includes readings from the Passion narrative, a homily, the Solemn Collects, and a time of shared silence. We will not celebrate the Eucharist this day — a deliberate liturgical choice that heightens the ache of waiting and points forward to Easter.
