At Holy Trinity Silicon Valley we offer a special Baptismal service for those seeking to be baptized—whether you are new to the Christian faith, returning after a season away, or looking to make a public Profession of Faith. Rooted in Anglican liturgy and the sacraments, the service is reverent and beautiful: scripture readings, prayers, the signing with the cross, the pouring of water, and the congregation’s welcome into the Body of Christ. Clergy provide pre-baptism conversation to explain the meaning of baptism, answer practical questions, and offer prayerful preparation for candidates and their sponsors or family. The atmosphere is warm and dignified—suitable for quiet reflection and joyful celebration—followed by a moment of fellowship so the community can embrace and encourage those newly baptized.
