Holy Trinity Silicon Valley · Palo Alto, California
One unhurried hour of Scripture and song.
Lessons & Carols is a service of readings from Scripture, each followed by a carol or hymn. Together they celebrate both the first coming of Jesus Christ and his still awaited second coming.
The form dates to an 1880 service in Truro, England, and was made famous by King's College, Cambridge. At Holy Trinity, an Anglican church in Palo Alto, we keep it as a joyful yet sacred evening in the days approaching Christmas. Everyone is welcome, whatever you believe.
