Pub Night: Theology, Philosophy, & Pints

We want to carve out space to edify our minds in good and safe conversation around important and interesting topics. That’s why we have Pub Night! This is a chance to engage in issues of Theology, Philosophy, and issues and topics of our day, all while enjoying some food and a drink. This session's topic will be discussing the Effective Altruism movement. Effective altruism is a philosophical and social movement that advocates "using evidence and reason to figure out how to benefit others as much as possible, and taking action on that basis". We will be exploring this topic from a Christian worldview and perspective. Regardless, these times and conversations are open to all and we encourage lively and respectful dialogue.
