Join us for an enriching time of exploration and discussion as we delve into the rich traditions and teachings of the Christian faith. Our Catechesis class is designed to provide a deeper understanding of the foundational aspects of Christianity and Anglicanism in a friendly and interactive group discussion format.
Specifically, the class is about the practices of the church over its past two millennia that followers of Christ have used to go deeper into his love for them and the world, and to live out its implications in the world and culture around them. These practices have been focused on the reading of Scripture, rhythms of prayer, the sacraments, life together, a kingdom understanding of time, self-giving, and suffering.
Over six weeks, we’ll explore what Scripture says about these as well as ancient and modern followers of Christ. Our hope is that all who participate will see how these practices are vital for being formed by and in Christ, understand how to build them into their life, and thus, become even more like Christ!
