On Our Worship
Our Sunday Liturgy is a sacred time of worship characterized by prayer, song, and the celebration of Holy Communion. By utilizing ancient Christian traditions and practices that have spanned the two millennia of the Church, we connect with the rich heritage of our faith. As a liturgical church, we follow established times for prayer, song, and call & response, creating a rhythm that fosters a deep sense of community and reverence. Our liturgy draws from the Book of Common Prayer 2019, particularly the Ancient Renewed Liturgy, which guides us in offering our praise and thanksgiving to God, nourishing our spiritual lives and reinforcing our commitment to the teachings of Christ.

On The Season of Lent
Lent is a season of reflection, penance, and preparation, observed by many Christian traditions. Spanning 40 days, excluding Sundays, it begins on Ash Wednesday and culminates in the celebration of Easter. During this time, believers are encouraged to engage in practices such as prayer, fasting, and almsgiving, fostering a deeper connection to Jesus Christ. Lent serves as an opportunity for self-examination and spiritual renewal, inviting individuals to grow closer to God as they reflect on the significance of sacrifice and redemption in their lives. This sacred journey encourages participants to contemplate their own beliefs and to prepare their hearts and minds for the joyous celebration of Easter.
