Make A Resolution
The early days of a new year bring a sense of anticipation, even excitement, over the new things we plan to do to better our lives for the benefit of those around us as well as for ourselves. We plan to work out more, spend more time in prayer, and implement more “atomic habits” in 2026.
As helpful as these resolutions can be, they focus on doing rather than being. What we do flows out of who we are. So, in this new year, let us make time to explore and dwell in the unshakeable reality that as followers of Christ, we are children of God, amazingly loved, deeply connected, fully forgiven, and with the continual blessing of his presence in our lives through the Holy Spirit. As we center our lives on this reality of who we are in Christ, we will find ourselves doing more of the things this year that are truly a blessing.
